the sam·my ho·tel, [thuh sa-mee ho-tel], noun
1. This broad term can be used to describe projects that involve a significant contribution by Toronto-based artist Mike Sammy. Some are conceived and spearheaded by Sammy, while others are projects in which he did not play a leadership role but contributed enough to warrant the use of the term. E.g. "Found Subjects recorded their latest album at The Sammy Hotel."
2. Being served an inordinately large helping of food can be described as eating at The Sammy Hotel.

Outdoor Napper Arouses Residents' Suspicions

First responders were called to investigate a body on the road at Pintail Gate in North Grenville last night. Passers-by saw what appeared to be the body of a man lying on the road behind a parked van, and called 9-1-1 thinking a collision or foul play may have occurred.
When police and ambulance arrived, they discovered the man was very much alive, and he was actually a travelling musician, who had stopped to take a nap and decided he would prefer to sleep in the open air, under the stars. On the road.
His bandmates in the van confirmed his story. Police directed the group to a nearby park where they could nap in safety.
“Mike Sammy is a joy to work with.”
